It’s Back Again

What is this?

When I left the hospital when I was put on bed rest and pregnant with Kingston, they sent me home with, oh yeah, a bed pan. I, not being in the hospital anymore, decided not to use it once I got home, but I wanted to go home so badly I agreed to whatever they said. This lovely item has stayed in its nice little package…and somehow has been transferred from the garage/storage to our new place. I saw this sitting on a box when I was unpacking today and Tim and I laughed so hard, we were trying to remember why we even had one in the first place. We have donated this lovely item, a 2009 pink hospital bed pan, to the nearest dumpster. Anyone {including the homeless} are welcome to snatch it from the said location…

18 Months!

Tim and I went to the mall last week and got a few shirts for Kingston. He is growing SOOO fast. He is wearing an 18 MONTH shirt in this picture. He has been wearing 12 month clothes for a while now but they are all summer clothes–go figure. It’s so weird that when he was born he was wearing premie clothes and now he is wearing 18 MONTH shirts/pants. It is a little bit big for him, but with how fast he is growing, I figure this will last through Winter and Spring. Isn’t he darling?

Wednesday

Yesterday Tim and I spent the day packing up a little bit more. We really don’t have much to pack up, only because most of our stuff is in storage. After Tim’s classes were over, we played and took pictures of Kingston. Here’s one I thought was so cute of Kingston against Tim.

Turbo

Tim and I finished out taxes and turned them in via e-file yesterday. All I can say is…THANK YOU TurboTax. We are getting back so much more than we anticipated. Isn’t that such a great feeling? I think it is. I hope it gets here pretty quick. Amazing what a baby and a stimulus bonus can do to your taxes eh? If you haven’t done your taxes, I would highly recommend TurboTax if you are doing them yourself. It’s so easy. e were done in under an hour!

This is me…minus the blond hair, and zero body fat, and cute shoes. Well, this is how I feel after having done my taxes!

On The Road Again…

We can hardly believe we will be moving this weekend. There is so much left to get done before then and Tim and I are so busy with Kingston and Tim’s school and my work. But I know somehow it will all come together by Saturday. We have been making Costco runs for big boxes every so often. They always have the best boxes. And thankfully our storage unit is allowing us to use their U-haul for FREE–can’t beat that! We have found it’s amazing how much you can fit in one room! I am learning to get rid of stuff we won’t use–or probably won’t use. I can be a bit of a pack rat, and I shouldn’t be. So Friday, we are doing the run through and signing the last of the paperwork and then we get the keys Saturday morning! Yeah for moving!

Family

Mom took a picture of us yesterday. We don’t really have any pictures of the 3 of us since Kingston’s blessing! I really need to be better about getting family pictures more often.

Saturday

Yesterday we were so busy. We started it out by doing some outdoor shopping. It was cold outside so we bundled Kingston up!

king1

He actually didn’t mind the sunglasses. He wore them for a long time.

Then right after that, I went and got my hair chopped off. As you can tell, I really needed it cut.

AFTER

Then we went out to eat with my parents, and Tim got the cutest picture of Kingston sitting in the high chair. He was grabbing onto my sweater but the pic of me looks HIDEOUS, so what do I do? I crop the picture!!

Kingston loves sipping out of cups, but it does get all over his shirts. I love his little smile right there!

School

So Tim has started school, as of last week. He showed up the first day and, guess what, a class was cancelled. So he added another class so he would be full time. He is enjoying the semester so far, minus the drone teaching English. I don’t understand how an English teacher could speak in such monotone speech for 3 hours and still have a job. No one is listening past the first sentence spoken. How could you? His classes start at 7am–that’s right, AM. Tim is not a morning person AT ALL. But somehow he drags himself out of bed for classes. I’m the opposite, I don’t mind getting up early. I have a hard time staying up late–weird since I work til midnight 4 days a week.

Chunk

Our little Chunker is eating a ton lately {oh wait, he always has}. He eats almost a cup of Oatmeal/Rice cereal with some fruit or veggies. Then a couple hours later, he downs an 8 oz bottle. He has finally started to sleep better, so we are grateful for a reprieve {for a little while anyway}. It’s so cute when he smiles. His two teeth show when he smiles!
